Since 2016, Spacetime Development has managed the Connect Harwell Programme on behalf of Harwell Campus. Connect Harwell consists of networking events, workshops and signposting for campus organisations. Events and workshops take place every month and have been attended by over 1100 people from both on and off-campus. During 2020, Spacetime Development pivoted to managing virtual events and workshops, which have successfully continued to promote the programme's aims.

RASOR: Real-time Accessible Space Operational Reel

Spacetime is developing a new streaming service for space imagery, called RASOR. RASOR will provide amazing live and replays of current imagery from across our Universe. Images, videos and visualisations will be accessible online and in physical locations, including at Schools & Universities, Space Organisations and Space Stores. The imagery will be presented through themed programmes: Launches, Earth, Planets, The Sun, Astronomy, and the International Space Station, with the content being tailored to each RASOR user and enhanced with easy-to-understand titles, captions, and timestamps. For educators, RASOR will include ready-to-go lesson plans, activities and competitions for both STEM and non-STEM subject areas. Stephen Ringler
Managing Director
Stephen has over 20 years of experience working in the Space sector as a Pointing Precision Engineer, Programmatic Analyst, and Business Developer. With his training that began at UCLA and his vast experience and network in the Space community, his aim with Spacetime Development is to provide top-notch business development support and engineering services to high-tech companies. Stephen enjoys exploring castles and playing board games, jazz piano and drums. He lives in Reading, UK with his wife and son.
Helen Neal
Events Manager
Helen has over 12 years of events experience ranging from networking lunches to vast scale festivals for Harley-Davidson owners. Helen joined the Spacetime team in February 2019 and is enjoying every moment! The combination of assisting develop the events programme and supporting the facilitation of educational activities at Space Store alongside managing the Harwell Connect and NextGen programme keeps her inspired and very busy. In her spare time, Helen juggles her two young children, a spirited bearded collie dog and her husband!
Lakshya Sethi
Project Engineer
Lakshya works as the Project Engineer and Assistant PM on RASOR, heading into its demonstration phase with ESA. He supports Space Store’s experiences and their space partnership programme. After completing his BEng in Aerospace Engineering, Lakshya successfully applied to Spacetime through the UKSA Spinternship Summer 2019 programme, coming on board full time after the internship!

Leading our User Experience team, Luke leads and coordinates the exploration, design and delivery of multidisciplinary business outcomes, centering them on customers' present and future needs. With a decade of experience, Luke is both user-focused and impact-driven. He has been pivotal in a highly competitive field of world-class designers and strategists to create compelling, insightful projects for customers in a broad church of industries and disciplines; from Architecture and Branding to Digital service and Video production. His track record boasts international clients such as The Collective Co-Living, Samsung, Jaguar Land Rover, Sonos, Virgin Group, Appear Here and many more.
Andreea Florea
Aerospace Engineer
Andreea is an Aerospace Engineer with an MSc in Space Engineering. She has experience with structural design, CAD modelling and material selection. She has hands-on experience in assembly and testing of launch adapters and installation of electrical subsystems. In her spare time, she leads events aimed at raising awareness in space exploration and coordinates work on the Structure, Mechanisms & Thermal Control subsystem of ROSPIN-Sat-1 - the first Romanian Educational Cubesat.
Ruth Hall
Events Administrator
Ruth joined the team after completing her Bsc Mathematics Degree. She is using her logistical skills to coordinate exciting events and experiences at Space Store. Ruth also supports various other projects including Spacetime's activities on Harwell Campus.
Dimitris Stemitsiotis
Electrical & Electronic Engineer
Having joined part-time initially in 2020, Dimitris now works full-time as an Electrical & Electronic Engineer on various hardware and software development projects, as well supporting the development of the RASOR platform. He has an extensive academic background in energy management systems, embedded systems, and telecommunications. In his spare time, Dimitris enjoys building computers and playing table tennis.
Ayla Jennings
Social Media and Digital Assistant
Ayla graduated from university with an honours degree in Psychology. She joined our team as a Social Media and Digital Assistant in 2021. She helps plan and create content for our Twitter and LinkedIn as well as Space Store’s Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter and LinkedIn.
Ali Raja
Aerospace Engineer
Ali is a Aerospace Engineer with a diverse range of skills outside of his original discipline such as VR/AR development. He has worked on various engineering projects for Space Store and other space partners on behalf of Spacetime. He holds a Beng degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering and has really enjoyed upscaling his skill set beyond traditional engineering with proficiency in Blender and Unreal Engine
Vassilis Zakopoulos
Mechanical Engineer
Vassilis has over 16 years of engineering experience in the Energy sector as a plant layout engineer, and more recently in the Space sector as a mechanical engineer. His training includes degrees in mechanical engineering, energy systems, and space engineering. At work, Vassilis enjoys a challenge and strives to provide high quality engineering services. Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, watching old movies, and failing to learn French.
Natalie Gelder
Events Delivery Assistant
Natalie joined the team after completing her BSc Aviation Management degree which included a year-long internship in events and communications with Airbus. She combines the logistical and communications skills she developed to coordinate and deliver a wide range of events and experiences for SpaceStore, in addition to supporting Spacetime's activities on Harwell Campus. In her spare time, Natalie enjoys browsing craft and vintage fairs, exploring historic houses and attending air shows with her camera.

Events Administrator
Harwell and Didcot, Oxfordshire. You may also be expected to travel to customer venues to deliver activities and must hold a valid driving licence for this role and have access to a vehicle.

Responsible to: Head of Events, Spacetime Development

Working hours: 15-37.5 hours per week. Flexible working hours to be agreed, evenings and weekends will be expected.

Contract: 3 month probation and 1 month notice

Salary: Dependent on experience

Holiday: 28 days per annum, plus statutory holidays pro-rata

About Us: At Spacetime Development, we are looking to make our mark by supporting businesses in the space sector and high-tech industries. We believe that with incredible and creative events and experience delivery, these magnificent businesses can shine brighter.

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Events, the Event Administrator will support the execution of Spacetime Development supported events. The role would suit someone who has an interest within the events field.

The role involves supporting the team in the planning and execution of events as well as supporting the relationships developed with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, a “people person” with a “can do” attitude. We have a hugely supportive team which values open-minded, inclusive working. Though you'll be vital in administering and delivering events and experiences, you will be doing so in a team that is happy to get stuck in.

The role will involve working with a number of clients, most closely Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, the heart of UK science and technology and Space Store, an experiential store, dedicated to bringing space to everyone, everywhere, every day, through a range of immersive and engaging experiences and events programme that engage the general-public, community groups, including the scouts and girl guiding associations, education facilities, charity groups and more.

Main Responsibilities and Activities:

The successful candidate will, working alongside the Head of Events and Events Coordinators:

●    Work with event planning tools to assist with bookings administration, scheduling and development of bespoke events and experiences for customers.

●    Support the planning, arrangements, implementation and delivery of events and experiences.

●    Respond to customer and client enquiries.

●    Provide administrative support across events, sponsorship and related programmes, including raising invoices.

●    Support the development of professional and trusting relationships with all stakeholders and partners.

●    Support and help to develop marketing promotional materials and content for events and experiences.

About You  

●    Excellent organisational, time-management and planning skills with the ability to multitask, work under pressure and use own initiative.

●    Ability to exercise effective judgement, discretion, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.

●    A team player with the ability to work with cross-organisational teams and navigate the political environment.

●    Self-motivated with a high energy level, able to work alone.

●    Committed, hardworking, passionate and a creative thinker.

●    High level oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.  

●    Capability to work evenings and weekends.

●    Competent in Microsoft Office and online, shared document programmes.
