RASOR: Real-time Accessible Space Operational Reel

Spacetime is developing a new streaming service for space imagery, called RASOR. RASOR will provide amazing live and replays of current imagery from across our Universe. Images, videos and visualisations will be accessible online and in physical locations, including at Schools & Universities, Space Organisations and Space Stores. The imagery will be presented through themed programmes: Launches, Earth, Planets, The Sun, Astronomy, and the International Space Station, with the content being tailored to each RASOR user and enhanced with easy-to-understand titles, captions, and timestamps. For educators, RASOR will include ready-to-go lesson plans, activities and competitions for both STEM and non-STEM subject areas. Read more about RASOR at


Stephen Ringler
Managing Director
Stephen has over 20 years of experience working in the Space sector as a Pointing Precision Engineer, Programmatic Analyst, and Business Developer. With his training that began at UCLA and his vast experience and network in the Space community, his aim with Spacetime Development is to provide top-notch business development support and engineering services to high-tech companies. Stephen enjoys exploring castles and playing board games, jazz piano and drums. He lives in Reading, UK with his wife and son.
Abigail Richings
Sponsorship & Events Manager
Abi works across a range of projects and events for Spacetime Development, including for the prestigious Harwell Science and Innovation Campus bringing together key stakeholders through an events and sponsorship programme to foster collaborations and working relationships, and for Space Store, Didcot, through bespoke, interactive STEM activities aimed at challenging children’s perceptions and broadening horizons to support the next generation of scientists and engineers.
Helen Neal
Events Coordinator
Helen has over 12 years of events experience ranging from networking lunches to vast scale festivals for Harley-Davidson owners. Helen joined the Spacetime team in February 2019 and is enjoying every moment! The combination of assisting develop the events programme and supporting the facilitation of educational activities at Space Store alongside managing the Connect Harwell Nxt Gen programme keeps her inspired and very busy. In her spare time, Helen juggles her two young children, a spirited bearded collie dog and her husband!
Lakshya Sethi
Project Engineer
Lakshya works as the Project Engineer and Assistant PM on RASOR, heading into its demonstration phase with ESA. He supports Space Store’s experiences and their space partnership programme. After completing his BEng in Aerospace Engineering, Lakshya successfully applied to Spacetime through the UKSA Spinternship Summer 2019 programme, coming on board full time after the internship!
Joshua Baylis
Business Administrator
A Space enthusiast from a young age, Josh holds a Physics and Astronomy degree from Durham. He has since held four years' experience working in stakeholder engagement within a research and innovation environment. Josh now supports Spacetime Development and its clients by ensuring the smooth running of various processes, from organising the Managing Director's schedule to accounting and event planning support.

With a decade of experience, Luke is both user-focused and impact-driven. Akshay Sethi
Graphic Design Intern
Akshay is completing his summer internship as a Graphic Design Intern after his first year in BA Architecture at the University of Westminster. He focuses on graphic design for Spacetime and Space Store’s exciting social media campaigns – including promotional videos, flyers, live events, and much more! Akshay is using his experience and skills from his degree to provide support for the design of Space Store's upcoming flagship store.

Website & Social Media Coordinator
Berkshire, Oxfordshire, or Buckinghamshire-based. Primarily work-from-home with occasional need to travel to Harwell or Didcot in Oxfordshire.

Responsible to: Managing Director, Spacetime Development

Working Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week

Contract: 3 month probation and 1 month notice

Salary: Dependent on experience

Holiday: 28 days per annum, plus statutory holidays

About Us

Spacetime Development is an independent consultancy which supports high-tech sectors with an emphasis on the space and satellite industry. Spacetime’s services are business development, event planning, user experience and engineering support.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Website & Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for ground-up website development, analytics reporting and continual improvement of websites and commerce sites for the company and its clients. The post-holder will also manage all social media platforms and develop the social media networks of the company and its clients. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised “people person,” with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Main Responsibilities and Activities

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop a website and database backend from the ground up for the RASOR space imagery project
  • Maintain, operate and improve websites for the company and its clients
  • Keep the social media channels for the company and its clients updated, specifically Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Plan and schedule social media content and posts
  • Maintain key security practices for website and social media platforms to ensure low risk of bad actors affecting the website or social media channels
  • Research, create and upload relevant contents e.g. graphics, videos, photos, audio, albums and stories
  • Identify key influencers and organisations to interact with on social media
  • Reply in a timely manner to comments and messages on all social media, website, and digital channels and organise backup cover for times when unavailable
  • Ensure the removal of any inappropriate comments from all digital channels
  • Encourage team members, followers, customers and key stakeholders to comment on social media posts and share them with others
  • Occasionally attend events for the company and its clients to provide digital coverage
  • Liaise with staff and other volunteers to ensure consistency in messaging
  • Provide weekly reports on online activity and provide recommendations for improvement 

About You

  • Interest in developing a digital marketing career with a keen focus on social media and website development and maintenance
  • Skills in website development and editing via WordPress backend Content Management System and experience in eCommerce platforms, ideally WooCommerce
  • Extensive presence on social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn and demonstrable management of that presence
  • Good organisational, time-management and planning skills with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and use own initiative
  • Ability to exercise effective judgement, discretion, sensitivity and creativity to changing needs and situations
  • Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work with cross-organisational teams
  • Self-motivated with a high energy level
  • Committed, hardworking, passionate and a creative thinker
  • High level oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
